Could not get the lamp to hook up to a new router. Kelly from customer service finally suggested a bridge that she sent. The bridge was easy to setup and yeah!!!! The Lamp is working perfectly. Thank you.

The concept is great, unfortunately for me connecting the lamp was a giant frustration. The other two members of the lamp group had no issues in connecting. The first time I tried to connect the wireless transmitter connected to the network would not display a green light for more that five seconds or so. After multiple attempts in finally connected and work for about a week and then cease to function. A call to your very helpful support staff determined the wireless transmitter to connect the lamp was not working and sent a new one. The new transmitter worked correctly and was able to connect and the lamp worked for another week or so and again cease to function. The software used with the transmitter was not successful in reestablishing the connection and keep reporting "Oops something went wrong" I then tried to connect via manually connecting to the network, that was equally frustrating. I would have a connection showing the lamp and stating it was connected, secure and no internet; however, it was not working. Finally in total frustration cleared the wireless connection and simply left the transmitter disconnected and the lamp connected and walked away. The next day the lamp appeared to be working which was confirmed by the other members of the group. But, there is no indication of a wireless connection to the lamp on the network. So, how it managed to connect is a mystery but hopefully it stays connected for more than a week.
My daughter got us our pair for Mother's Day a few years ago. We love giving each other a "hug" with our filimin. We recently had an internet crash and had to change our router. When this was done, the filimin wouldn't connect. I contacted your customer service and they worked with me and sent me a bridge at no cost to me. We were up and running within a few days. Awesome service for an awesome product. LOVE IT!!!
It did allow me to connect after my internet (Infinity/Comcast changed to a higher speed. However, every time I touch it a different color shows up. I’ve reset it several times, unplugged, etc. At this point I’ve unplugged it for good!
It's easy to hook up and use my daughter loves it and I would recommend it to others.

My bridge & light worked, but my friends light still doesn’t work. We’re unhappy with the lamp. My friend purchased a new lamp because the first one didn’t work. Now the second one doesn’t work.

It is a fun way to say hi to loved ones, especially little loved ones. My daughter in law bought it for us and I say hi to her son (7 years-old) & he back to me. When it broke, Filimin, took care, no hassle and returned it promptly. Great product, great company.

When I purchased my dual lamps I didn't expect them to last long. They were a 50th birthday gift for a friend and though I was sold on the idea I thought them likely to be a technical nightmare. How wrong I was. They have been absolutely fantastic and I couldn't love them more. There is something so special in seeing my lamp light up because a friend thought of me an ocean away. When a minor technical glitch did occur customer service could not have been more brilliant. Easy to reach, receptive and eager to offer solutions their assistance was second to none. I have been impressed every step of the way and I recommend the friendship lamp to anyone looking for a novel way to stay in touch with loved ones.

My very young grand daughter was working at a Christmas tree farm selling doughnuts, etc to earn money for Christmas. She earned enough to buy herself and me each a lamp. I had no idea what they were or how they worked or how they would impact our lives. Mine is on the dining room table, hers is on her night stand. We "communicate" evenings mostly by each tapping til our color appears. Her grandpa is always the last to say "goodnight" by touching the lamp so she sees it when she goes to bed. A gift that will last a lifetime for this family.
My mom who lives 400 plus miles away and is 85 years old used her lamp all the time. I had to setup the system which was not easy. One day her modem quit and had to be replaced. My moms lamp went silent. Her tone in her voice on phone calls was breaking with tears and many times she was crying. I tried endlessly to design a way to get her lamp hooked back up and went into my account and saw the Bridge. I ordered it and had it shipped to her house. I told her it was coming. The day it was suppose to arrive? her lamp started working. She set it up and was back online with myself and my sister who also has a lamp. Her whole world changed knowing how often we were thinking of her. Thank you

Many members of our extended family celebrate Thanksgiving together every year. We travel to South Carolina from Maryland, Massachusetts, and Georgia. Sometimes our Brazilian family members are there, too. This is a special time for all of us because it's the only time during the year that we are all together in one place at the same time. It's a cherished family tradition that we began in the early 1970s. Following Thanksgiving 2018 our daughter and her family gifted every family member with a Friendship Lamp. We each selected a color to represent our individual family unit. Then the fun began! Even now, after a year and a half with our Friendship Lamps we still stay in touch via our Lamps. Our Friendship Lamps are even more important to us now that we're experiencing the concerns associated with Covid-19. We recognize that even though we are physically separated from each other, we can still show our love for each other and stay connected with a simple hand touch to our Friendship Lamps.
I have four siblings and all five of us live in different states. We do a holiday gift exchange each December and I always get a bit grinchy about gift lists: if I need to write a list so you can go buy me a gift, I'd rather no gift. I'd prefer a thoughtful note, a phone call...something that says, hey, I thought of you. So for my 50th, my siblings got me/us the lamps. THEY ARE PERFECT. Their job is to say, hey, I thought of you. When my lamp lights, I always smile. The nieces and nephews love them too, and continue to learn how vital family is.

How truly fine to see I am being thought of by my two daughters. They too are warmed by my message in color. Each of us feels loved from afar.

We have five members of my family with the Filimin, they are spread across the country, in Washington, Illinois, Missouri, New York and Florida. Three generations staying in touch with our friendship lamps. Each of us have our own distinct color, but we know they are thinking of us and the others when the lamp comes on. It's so nice to be able to touch the lamp instead of taking the time to text or call. The staff at Filimin is excellent. I had a bridge problem, I emailed them, they sent me a new bridge. The problems are behind us now. Thanks a lot for thinking of this marvelous little friendly light. It more than brightens up the room!!!
